In 2023 Hell & a Handbasket travel

The concept of "Hell In A Handbasket" is a Murphy's law expectation, what can go wrong will.
And whatever happens, it's all an unexpected chaos that can derail your attempt to enjoy your trip, whether it be completing a "bucket list" before it is too late, or just the need for a better life with a choice of settling in another country for the "perfect" life that includes working remotely to earn the $$ to pay your bills.
Yet there are very real "chaos" issues with airline safety, namely, the number of FAA reports in 2023 of "near misses" regarding planes avoiding other planes with just a mile or less between them.
As usual, it behooves the traveler to keep in mind that in 2023, the fact that "the unexpected" can happen is a reality perhaps more so in this early 21st century age of uncertainty globally.
However, "uncertainty" is a problem particularly associated with travel.
Here's why:   when you travel, you are doing so to fulfill some sort of need, and whatever that need is, you are vulnerable to what happens.

Here's my advice coming from more than 2 decades of experience as a certified CTC (Travel Institute):  in 2023, be prepared for "Hell In A Handbasket" travel, but don't get flustered, put one foot in front of the other and go forth aware of the hazard that you may encounter, step to the left or the right, doing the "avoidance" dance, and go!
