The concept of "protest travel"

I've found website links to prove that the concept of "protest travel" is alive and well.
This "concept" of using travel as a protest has, according to Google AI, taken hold: "...Yes, the concept of "protest" travel is emerging, where individuals or groups choose to travel or alter their travel plans in response to political or social issues, often related to the policies or actions of a specific country or destination. This can involve reconsidering trips to a particular location, engaging in travel that supports specific causes, or even using travel as a form of activism."
In today's era, protest travel can mean a number of things, especially combative and often violent engagement to express opinion and politics, but then, the why of using 'time off' from work to express a 'piss off' is subject to the nature of those who may want a community to be with when they aren't at work, likewise, retired individuals may want a travel experience with a community, and they may enjoy paying for travel that for them is meaningful.
And it may be the "concept" of travel without a meaningful experience other than time to unwind, or effect a temporary change of environment, is no longer in fashion.
Perhaps in 2025, what with the world aflame with anger and killing, talking about, or showing photos of the recent travel experience, is considered as boasting of exploits that mean little in today's era of violence, now some believe the peaceful happy travel time, is an extravagance for self-absorbed people.
Whatever concept of travel you prefer, happy traveling, and don't forget to make those memories even those that have you doing "protest" travel!
