Can travel be nullified?
Google's AI indicates the many ways it is possible: "...travel can be **nullified** or become ineligible for reimbursement or
certain benefits in various contexts, such as when travel is not business
related, when travel insurance coverage is voided, or when travel is cancelled
due to unforeseen circumstances."
Although none of the above relates to just the 21st
century, it can be assumed that with more people traveling, all of the **nullified** mentioned in Google's AI summary will happen more frequently. And
since the definition of the word **nullify** is to cancel making
something not available anymore, the CBS article in my research list indicates the best days of airplane travel are over, now plane travel is just the
means to get from one point to another, more like the old fashioned bus travel,
it is a no frills way of getting from one point to another. Also the 2025 travel requirements of travel domestically and
internationally are usually a cancellation of sorts, too, as well, my research indicates that in 21st century travel
the word **nullified** is to cancel what was in effect
previously.
Insofar as this new
administration is concerned, while the previous administration did not always mandate
a real ID for travel, now there are strict rules, and no exemptions for the undocumented.
Whether you believe the better days for travel by plane are over,
or prefer travel with new rules in effect for this year, regardless, I do wish you happy
traveling!!
