Looking ahead to travel in 2023

Scheduled airline travel gets more onerous in 2023.
You may not need to prove your ID/identity to vote if you are in a USA county/state where Voter ID is not needed, but this is an oncoming reality for flights within the USA, 2023 has TSA mandating proof of ID/identity drivers licenses.
Expect the year 2023 and beyond to be years when visa requirements will tighten. Nations around the global community will find enhancements to ID requirements are necessary for their national security.  In addition to higher prices for a lower grade of flight accommodations, even the Business class and First Class traveler may not like the cutbacks on amenities, frequent fliers will be jolted by the upgrade choices they are not offered.
For the traveler who is a First Class business traveler of scheduled airlines flying within the USA, a BAJ charter will become a better choice for avoiding the lines and flight cancellations for more successful  in person business deals.
As to what happens if someone is here in the USA illegally, it is up to the states to determine what they will accept as proof that you are who you are.  Be aware a lower category of drivers license is a drivers license anyone who wants to drive can obtain with some information that shows where you reside, for those who have a valid passport, they can avoid having to visit their DMV personally with more proof of ID/identify.

In this post I'm not yet covering the 2023 changes to what you will need to do even in Europe's 5* hotels to conserve power and heat your room/suite, prepare for another unpleasant reality, the water in the bathroom may not be hot.  As well, in the USA, visiting or vacations in states with electrical grid issues like California will mean asking questions about the heating/cooling of your accommodations, and car rentals may be an issue, too.
Take heart, in this 21st century there will be unwelcome changes of one sort or another, but that doesn't diminish the need to experience a temporary hiatus in a different scene, no matter where you go, you'll come back better at managing the challenges ahead.
